Welcome to Memorly! Adaminion, LLC ("we" or "us") truly values your privacy. This lighthearted but serious policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your info. Don't worry—there are no hidden spy cams here.

2. Definitions

• MemoSheets: Handy, user-created study cards or quizzes. You're the author, the brain, and the publisher!
• Offline mode: Using Memorly without the internet—retro style.
• Online mode: Using Memorly with all the perks of the cloud and internet wizardry.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Offline Mode

• No data is collected or transmitted. Your content lives and dies locally—copied briefly to your clipboard, then gone with the app.

3.2 Online Mode

We only collect the essentials, nothing juicy:

• Your chosen display name
• Your email address (used to log in)
• Your password (securely hashed—promise!)
• Anonymous stats like how long you study
• Your lovingly crafted MemoSheets

4. How We Use Information

• Authentication & Access: Your email and password get you in.
• Account Page: Only you see your stats and display name here.
• Quiz Functionality: We use your MemoSheets to quiz you into greatness.
• Newsletter: Opted in? We'll email you things. Not opted in? We won't.

5. Where Your Data Lives

• We host your data in Google Cloud Firestore—safe, encrypted, and hugged tightly by TLS/SSL.

6. Who Has Access

• You: Access your own stuff anytime (assuming you remember your password).
• Adaminion, LLC: We peek only to enforce rules or obey the law.
• Public MemoSheets: Created by us, curated by us, enjoyed by all.

7. Data Security

• Your data's journey is protected with TLS/SSL in transit.
• Passwords are securely hashed, and other info is encrypted while resting in cloudland.
• We follow the digital equivalent of brushing and flossing daily—aka best security practices.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

• You are free to edit or delete MemoSheets anytime inside the app.
• On the Account screen, you may even delete your entire account instantly (talking it out with a human—or a cat—is highly advised beforehand). It’s permanent, irreversible, final… and usually regretted
• Deletions in Memorly are final — no undo, and shockingly, no redo either.

9. Third-Party Services

• We use Firebase Authentication and Analytics. Their rules apply too—check their websites for the fine print.

10. Sharing Your Information

• We don't sell or trade your data. Not now, not ever, not even for a lifetime supply of cat treats.

11. Children's Privacy

• We're COPPA compliant—kids under 13 are safe and sound.
• We don't knowingly collect data from kids under 13. Pinky swear.

12. Updates to This Policy

• If we update this policy, we'll let you know 14 days ahead—via a banner in the app and email (if you're subscribed).
• Keep using Memorly? That means you're cool with the new version.
